(Moscow) -- The supply of Russian gas to Europe has resumed in the Nord Stream pipeline.

The Wall Street Journal says natural gas started flowing again today through the biggest single pipeline from Russia to Germany. A spokesman for Nord Stream AG says the pipeline is still in the process of restarting and it could take a few hours, but gas is flowing.

The Nord Stream pipeline had been shut down for maintenance since July 11th.
