(Los Angeles, CA) -- A producer and writer who was nominated for five Emmy awards is now in jail on sexual assault charges dating back ten years.

The Los Angeles Police Department announced on Thursday that "Scrubs" co-executive producer Eric Weinberg is being held on three-point-two million dollars bond. The LAPD says Weinberg is accused of preying on women in their 20s and 30s in "grocery stores, coffee shops, and other public places," and luring them for an alleged photo shoot at his home where he would sexually assault them.

In addition to "Scrubs," Weinberg also worked as a producer for Showtime's "Californication" and FX's "Anger Management" and wrote for "Politically Incorrect" with Bill Maher.
