(Menlo Park, CA) -- Facebook is running a test to allow users to create up to five profiles on the same account.
It's a major change in the social media giant's long-standing policy that allows people to have only a single account and identity on the platform. According to Bloomberg, it's Facebook's latest move to hold off declining engagement, particularly among younger users.
The move represents a major shift from Facebook's longtime policy of requiring "real names."
