President Biden arrives in Israel

(Tel Aviv) -- President Biden is in Tel Aviv as he begins his first trip as Commander in Chief to the Middle East.

Speaking at an arrival ceremony, Biden said, "The connection between the Israeli people and the American people is bone deep." He added the visit will strengthen the connection between the countries even further.

Biden will also visit the occupied West Bank to meet with Palestinian leadership. On Friday, he is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
