(San Francisco, CA) -- The world's first driverless taxi service is starting in California.
The state approved a company that makes self driving cars. Cruise is owned by General Motors and will use 30 electric Chevy Bolt to carry passengers around San Francisco. The cars will only reach 30-miles-an-hour and won't be on the road after 10 p.m. or drive in the rain.
The plan is to start charging for rides in the coming weeks.
