(Seattle, WA) -- Amazon is increasing criticism of an antitrust bill that's aimed at limiting the e-commerce giant's power.

Part of the plan is trying to distance Amazon from other tech giants the bill targets. In a blog post Wednesday, Amazon public policy vice president Brian Huseman said the company's consumer business the bill targets is more like big retailers Walmart, Target, and Costco than like the business of Apple, Facebook, or Google.

The bill sponsored by Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley and Minnesota Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar would limit giant tech firms from giving preferential treatment to their own products.
