(Washington, DC) -- President Biden is announcing moves to fight the ongoing shortage of baby formula that include importing more products.

The FDA will announce specific steps in the coming days. In the meantime, Biden says there will be a new effort focused on price gouging.

The Justice Department will talk with state attorneys general to make sure they're using their authority to fight excessively high prices. There's also an effort underway to get all states to relax rules on stores keeping a certain amount of formula on shelves.
