(Washington, DC) -- U.S Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says protesting outside of the homes of Supreme Court Justices is fine, if they are kept peaceful.

Demonstrators are voicing their concerns and gathering outside of the homes of Justices Brett Kavanaugh, John Roberts and Samuel Alito following a leaked draft of a Supreme Court opinion that showed abortion rights across the U.S could be overturned.

"If protests are peaceful, yes. My house — there’s protests three, four times a week outside my house. The American way to peacefully protest is OK."

The leaked draft majority opinion, published by Politico last week, indicated the Supreme Court is ready to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned parenthood v. Casey. A decision that would end federal abortion protections, leaving the decision to the states.
