(Washington, DC) -- The war in Ukraine is nearly at the ten week mark.

But Russia hasn't formally declared that yet. U.S. officials believe the country's leader will do that Monday to mark the Russian holiday known as "Victory Day."

This will enable full mobilization of Russia's reserve forces as troops have already shifted their focus on two areas in eastern Ukraine.

Officials say Russia may also try to seize control of those breakaway territories next week.
