(Fargo, ND) -- Vietnam veterans and their families are being honored on this National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
The day was established by the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017. It's meant to remember and honor Vietnam vets, former prisoners of war and those who are listed as missing in action.
March 29th was chosen as it was on this day back in 1973 that the last combat troops left Vietnam.
