(Washington, DC) -- The Biden administration is expected to announce new federal building ventilation standards Thursday aimed at stepping up the fight against the coronavirus.

The standards that apply to schools and businesses will draw on expert guidance on how clean air can prevent the spread of illness. It's the first time standards like this are being created at the national level.

The EPA will roll out the recommendations that include a checklist for getting more clean, fresh air into classrooms and workplaces.
