VP Harris to take part in Bloody Sunday event in Selma, AL

(Selma, AL)  --  Vice President Harris will be in Alabama today for the 57th anniversary of Bloody Sunday.  The Vice President is scheduled to take part in a march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, where white police officers attacked civil rights protesters in 1965.

  Harris will speak at the event before attending a meeting with state and local civil rights leaders.  Several members of President Biden's Cabinet will also be there.
