(Marshall, TX) -- Texas is launching a new lawsuit against Facebook.

Attorney General Ken Paxton says the social media giant is violating a privacy protections by using facial recognition technology on users without their consent. He claims the company stored biometric data of people who didn't have an account and sent the information to others for profit.

Paxton calls it "yet another example of Big Tech's deceitful business practices."
