Desmond Tutu dies

Cape Town, South Africa --  Anti-apartheid icon Desmond Tutu has died..  The South African Archbishop who led a movement to end white minority rule in South Africa, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his work towards ending apartheid. 

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed his death in a statement early today, and called Tutu "a man of extraordinary intellect, integrity, and invincibility against the forces of apartheid."  His doctor said Desmond Tutu died peacefully in Cape Town Sunday morning at age 90.
