(Fort Worth, TX) -- Beware before heading to the airport if your trip involves American Airlines, as some flights aren't getting off the ground Monday.
At least 250 have already been canceled, with another 100 delayed. This comes after more than one-thousand flights were canceled over the weekend.
The company blames severe weather, including high winds shutting down three runways at the Dallas-Fort Worth International hub. That in turn affected staffing.
