U.S Department of Agriculture to award North Dakota $500,000

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is expecting to receive $500,000 from The U.S Department of Agriculture.

The announcement comes from U.S Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), who says the funds will be used for the North Dakota Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network project to develop and supply resources, offer educational programs, and to facilitate stress assistance efforts.

The funds are also planned to be distributed towards farm and ranch stress reduction, to "Improve health and well-being for those working in agriculture and their operations."
