(Teton County, WY) -- Gabby Petitio died from strangulation.
Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue said the autopsy results show she died by homicide. Her body was found in Wyoming in September. Police have been looking for her finance Brian Laundrie since last month. Her remains have been returned to the mortuary in Wyoming.
Dr. Blue said he thinks she died three-to-four weeks before the body was found. No other information about the autopsy will be released. Law enforcement did collect DNA samples.
