(Austin, TX) -- Texas is ready to fight back after being ordered to stop the nation's strictest abortion law.
The state plans to appeal last night's ruling. A federal judge blocked the ban, allowing women to end their pregnancy after six weeks. He called it an "offensive deprivation of such an important right."
The decision sides with the Justice Department, which sued to block the measure last month after the Supreme Court refused to block it.
