CDC Endorses Pfizer COVID Booster Shots

(Washington, DC) -- The White House is set to kick off its COVID booster campaign Friday.

The CDC endorsed Pfizer's vaccine, recommending a third shot for millions of people. Three groups are now allowed to get it -- those 65 and older, people 50 to 64 with medical conditions, and workers at high risk because of their jobs.

As for Moderna, it's already asked the FDA for approval. Johnson and Johnson hasn't applied yet, but released some data this week.
