(Washington, D.C.) -- The Space Force is unveiling prototypes of its uniforms.
The sixth and newest branch of the U.S. military revealed the design Tuesday, featuring a dark navy coat with six buttons and grey pants.
The internet was quick to note similarities to science fiction uniforms from Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.
A lieutenant colonel says the uniforms were designed with women in mind.
