(Heathrow, FL) -- Gas prices are finally headed in the right direction, even if it's at a slow pace.
The latest Triple-A survey puts the national average for a gallon of regular at three dollars and 18-cents a gallon. That's down less than a penny from yesterday but the first time prices haven't increased in almost two weeks.
Drivers in California continue to pay the most at four--39 followed by Hawaii and Nevada. Mississippi has the cheapest prices.
