TSA Extends Transportation Mask Mandate to January 18th

(Washington, DC) -- Keep masking up on planes, trains and buses.

The federal mandate was set to end next month but the TSA extended that until January 18th due to a surge in COVID cases. This means travelers will need to wear masks through the busy holiday season.

Some airlines including Southwest and Spirit have already warned about a drop in bookings and higher cancellations due to the fast-spreading delta variant.
