Suni Lee Wins Gold For U.S. In Women's Individual All-Around

(Tokyo) -- The U.S. is adding another gold medal to its count thanks to Suni Lee.

She finished first in the women's gymnastics all-around final with a score of 57.433. Brazil's Rebeca Andrade was awarded the silver with a score of 57.298. Angelina Melnikova of the Russian Olympic Committee finished third with a score of 57.199, good enough for the bronze medal.

Lee took the gold in the same event that teammate Simone Biles dominated in five years ago. Biles is still on the sidelines due to mental health reasons, with her return to the games in question.
