Apple Delays Office Return As COVID Cases Rise

(Cupertino, CA) -- Apple employees will have to wait a little longer before going back to work in-person.

The worldwide resurgence in coronavirus variants is causing the company to delay its return to office mandate by at least one month, pushing it to October at the earliest.

Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook informed employees to prepare to be back in the office for at least three days a week by early September.

The tech company becomes one of the first to change its return-to-office plans in response to the rise in COVID cases.
