(Denver, CO) -- Major League Baseball is now enforcing new guidelines to make sure pitchers are not doctoring baseballs.
The league's crackdown officially began today and includes the possibility of fines and suspensions for anyone caught using so-called "sticky stuff" to make pitches harder to hit.
If a player refuses an inspection, they could be ejected.
The rule comes in an effort to potentially curtail pitchers' dominance this season.
