CDC: Vaccines Have Helped Older Americans The Most

(Atlanta, GA) -- Older Americans are getting the most benefit from getting their COVID-19 shots.

A CDC study released today shows the biggest drop offs in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are among those over the age of 65.

It says there was a 59-percent decrease in that age group for hospitalizations and deaths.

As of Monday, the CDC says over 86-percent of Americans 65 and older have gotten at least one dose of a vaccine.
