(New York, NY) -- Kanye West's Nike Air Yeezy samples are now the most expensive sneakers in the world.
The shoes, originally valued at one-million-dollars, recently sold for a whopping one-point-eight million. That's the highest publicly recorded price for a pair of sneakers, according to Sotheby's auction house.
The shoes are the rapper's own size 12 pair that were worn to the Grammys back in 2008.
