CDC Recommends Use of Johnson and Johnson Vaccine Again

(New Brunswick, NJ) -- A CDC panel is recommending the U.S. resume using the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine.

They say the benefits are greater than the risks associated with the single-shot vaccine.

The CDC and the FDA recommended a pause in J&J vaccinations earlier this month. The pause came after six American women developed extremely rare blood clots.

Johnson and Johnson is agreeing to put a warning label on its COVID-19 vaccine, which was in part due to the drug maker negotiating a deal as the CDC advisory panel considered lifting the pause on the vaccine.
