China, Russia Agree To Open Base On Moon

(Washington, DC) -- China and Russia are teaming up to open a research station on the moon.

China's space administration says the base will either be on the moon's surface or in orbit, and used for research and exploration.

According to a statement from the administration, the lunar base will be open to "all interested countries."

However, it did not give a date for when the project would be complete.
