Storm System Continues Trek Across The U.S.

Winter storm warnings are in effect from Texas to Maine for a powerful storm bringing a wide array of weather with it.

The people of Texas continue to clean up from the snow that fell there, as wind chill readings are in the teens all the way to the Gulf Coast. The state is also dealing with a power shortage that Governor Greg Abbott believes was caused by the frigid temperatures. Texans are being asked to conserve electricity as the bitterly cold air continues.

The storm is moving towards the Ohio River Valley where Cincinnati and Cleveland could be blanketed eight inches to a foot of snow.

Ice continues to pile up from northern Alabama to West Virginia as freezing rain falls there.

Where temperatures are warmer, people are bracing for severe storms as a tornado watch is in place for parts of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
