Stimulus Plan Gets Boost

(Washington, DC)  --  The House is approving a Senate-passed budget resolution on the coronavirus rescue plan.  The final vote was 219-to-209.  The only Democrat to vote against the measure was Maine Congressman Jared Golden.  The near two-trillion dollar package will now make its way to committees to work out the details.  Republicans said the price tag is too high.  President Biden has said his plan will include an aggressive effort to boost coronavirus vaccinations across the country.
