Senator Kevin Cramer defends votes to send billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to Ukraine

(Fargo, ND) -- Senator Kevin Cramer today was asked to defend his votes in support of sending billions of dollars to Ukraine as the country continues its war with Russia.

"That's what prevents the war from coming to us. So, defeating Putin before he takes on NATO, and pretty soon we are into a war with our own blood, our own young men and women's blood and treasure we want to make sure that he is defeated and not with any spilled American blood,"

Kramer said "supporting Ukraine's defeat of Vladimir Putin is securing" the United States.

A listener posed the question while Cramer appeared on his regular Talk Radio Town Hall on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
