(Fargo, ND) -- Much of the attention with the wildfire smoke from Canada is focusing on the effect on air quality.

But visibility on the roadways is posing another issue.

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks says a cold front moving through today will force a shift of winds to the north and visibility will improve.

But until the front moves through some areas may have visibility reduced to a quarter of a mile.
