Congressman Armstrong calls Biden budget proposal "unserious"; calls for releasing all January 6th Capitol footage

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota Congressman Kelly Armstrong is is commenting on President Biden's $6.8 trillion dollar budget proposal.

"I think one of the most egregious things in the Biden budget outside of the fact that you're exactly right, it's unserious is they don't even attempt to shrink the size of government. It's just this constant thing, we're just going to keep growing it and growing it and growing it. I don't even know how many unauthorized bureaucracies that still exist but it's really, I mean if $32 trillion in debt and record inflation can't get you to recognize the federal government is too big I don't know what can," said Armstrong.

Armstrong says Biden's budget aims to "give everything to everybody", and says increasing the size of government leads to fewer freedoms.  The congressman made the comments while appearing on "What's on Your Mind" on AM 1100 The Flag.

Armstrong was asked if he supports Fox News Host Tucker Carlson showing videos of what happened at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

"I got asked if I thought he should have the tapes and I said yeah I don't have any problem with it. I actually think there is 41 thousand hours and I think they should release them all. There's probably 50 hours that are specifically necessary to withhold for real, true strategic security concerns, but so fine, then at least 40,950 (hours) of it."
