(Fargo, ND) -- A former candidate for the state Legislature was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct: fighting behavior. Kaitlyn Huss was accused of hitting her then boyfriend in a Valley City bar last October. She was sentenced to one-day in jail, which has already been served, forty hours of community service and ordered to have no contact with the victim. Huss finished last in a four-way race for the House District 24 seat last November.
