Suspect at large following domestic violence incident in Williston

(Williston, ND) -- A man is still at large following a domestic violence incident early Thursday morning in Williston.

According to Williston Police, at 3:40 a.m., the Williston Police Department responded to a report of a domestic violence incident in the 2400 block of 37th Place. On scene, two female victims were identified during the investigation. Those identities are not being released at this time.

The suspect, Leonard Barton Higdon Jr., fled the scene and was involved in a multi-agency vehicle pursuit. His vehicle was recovered in the 5900 block of Highway 85, north of Williston. The suspect fled on foot and is still at large.

Members of the Williston Police Department, along with the Williams County Sheriff's Office, were able to identify a possible location of Higdon, Jr. A search warrant was executed, but Higdon, Jr., was not found.

He is believed to be armed and dangerous. Law enforcement are asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspect, and are asking those who may see Higdon to not approach him, but call local law enforcement.
