(Fargo, ND) -- As conditions worsen in the area, several closures and advisories have been issued.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has closed I-29 from Fargo to the Canadian Border and US 2 from Devils Lake to Grand Forks due to blowing snow and near-zero visibility. Motorists are not allowed to travel on a closed road due to life-threatening conditions.

Highway 10 from Moorhead to Detroit Lakes is also closed.

Meantime, a 'No Travel' advisory has been issued in Cass County for similar scenarios. A similar advisory has also been issued in Clay and Polk Counties.

Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says they've already responded to several cars in ditches and crashes, and is asking everyone to stay home until the weather passes.
