(West Fargo, ND) -- A century old Bismarck company has a new owner.

Midwest Motor Express President and CEO Marlin Kling says the company sold for 150-million to Knight-Swift, a public company. The freight company will continue to operate from its Bismarck headquarters under the same name. Sister company Midnite Express will do the same from its West Fargo headquarters.

The company dates back to 1918 as Snyder's Day and Transfer, which used horses and wagons to deliver, coal, cream, gravel, and freight.
