Report: Driver who left tow truck along I-94 before crash had suspended license

(Tower City, ND) -- More information regarding a deadly crash involving a stalled tow truck along I-94 in Tower City is being revealed Tuesday morning.  

Investigators now say the driver of that tow truck, 43-year-old Mario Butler, was driving with a suspended license. Butler left the tow truck along the highway the night of January 22nd, and got a ride from someone.  

At just about 9 p.m. that night, 42-year-old Tim Hagerott crashed into the tow truck, the impact leading to his wife, 43-year-old Kelli Hagerott, passing away from the impact of the crash. The parent's two young daughters, including the father, suffered serious injuries as well.
