1:55 PM UPDATE: Williston Police say 15-year-old Leah Varela has been found safe in Williston.
ORIGINAL STORY: (Williston, ND) -- Police in Williston are asking for the public's help in finding a 15-year-old runaway girl.
According to Police, 15-year-old Leah Varela is a 5-foot-2 inch, 110-pound female with black hair and eyes, and was last seen in Williston on October 4. She was last seen wearing a purple tie dye sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Police remind the public that anyone who willfully harbors a runaway minor with knowledge that the child is being sought by law enforcement authority is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
Anyone with information on the location of Varela is asked to call Williston Police at 701-577-1212.
