(Williston, ND) -- A home-based daycare provider in Williston is in custody on a felony child-abuse charge after an infant in her care suffered permanent brain damage last month. Police say Torrie Vader changed her story multiple times about the July 16th incident. Investigators say the five-month-old baby appeared to have been shaken. Vader remains in custody at the Williams County Correctional Center.
