ND Commerce renews Williston Renaissance Zone

(Williston, ND) — The North Dakota Commerce Department has renewed the Renaissance Zone Project for the City of Williston. The renewal is in effect for five years. According to the Commerce Department, the program is a tool for redevelopment and economic investment for communities that incorporates tax incentives to business and residential properties. Williston began using the program in 2005, and has had 29 projects approved, including Grace and Glam, which was completed in 2021, and Cooks on Main, completed in 2019. Williston is one of 58 cities across North Dakota to participate in the program.
