Grand Forks Residents Asked To Limit Outdoor Water Use

(Grand Forks, ND)  --  Grand Forks residents are being asked to limit outdoor water use.  The move is part of Phase One of the city's Drought Management and Demand Reduction Plan.  The limitations go into effect today, with residents asked to water lawns only two days a week in the early mornings.  The city says the combination of decreased stream flow, increased water usage, and dry, hot temperatures led to the decision to enact watering limitations.
