(Moorhead, MN) -- Moorhead Police are investigating after an officer-involved shooting happened Sunday afternoon around 3:00. This occurred in the 2500 Block of 4 Ave North. Officers were investigating suspicious activity which led to a brief foot pursuit with the suspect. Police shots were fired, the suspect was taken into custody and there were no injuries. Authorities say the incident was isolated, and there is no belief of danger to the public. The investigation is very active at this time. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been contacted and will be investigating the officer-involved shooting. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office will be handling the criminal investigation regarding this incident.
