Drought Causing Some Bears To Come Into Neighborhoods For Food

(Cass County, ND) -- Drought is causing some bears to come into North Dakota towns for food.

The North Dakota Department of Game and Fish says it's not uncommon for the animals to be out in the summer, however drought is wiping out berry bushes they usually eat. Some are going through garbage and using bird feeders for food.

Anyone who sees a bear in their yard shouldn't approach it and report it to officials.
