The McKenzie County Sheriff's Office says human remains, found last Wednesday southwest of Watford City, have been identified.
On Tuesday, the remains were identified as that of Kyle William Hill. The Sheriff's Office says Hill was reported as a missing person in October 2019.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
