(Moorhead, MN) -- The City of Moorhead Assessor's office will be conducting property reviews of residential properties in the upcoming weeks.
Staff will be working in the following subdivisions:
- Arbor Park Addition
- Arbor Park 2nd Addition
- Cottonwood Addition
- Hagen Replat
- Hills Addition
- Sunset Addition
- Village Green 5th Addition
- Westmoor Greens 1st Addition
- Westmoor Greens 2nd Addition
- Westmoor Greens 3rd Addition
These areas will also receive a mailed notice.
The State of Minnesota requires cities to review properties every five years to ensure the Assessor’s Office has current and accurate information for use in valuation. In order to ensure the safety of all residents, an appraiser will view and photograph building exteriors only, and will not be knocking on doors to request an interior inspection as in the past. Appraisers will carry City identification, but will avoid interaction with residents in order to maintain the safety and health of city staff and residents.
