(Fargo, ND) -- Full daily service is back underway on Amtrak's Empire Builder route. The Empire Builder runs from Chicago to Seattle and back, making several North Dakota stops including at Fargo, Minot, Stanley, and Williston. Amtrak cut and rolled back some routes last year after ridership dropped, and there were health concerns with traveling by train because of the pandemic.
