(Fargo, ND) -- Starting Friday, May 14th, the North Dakota Department of Transportation contractors will begin additional project work along 38th Street and I-29 southbound exit ramp intersection. A temporary detour will be in effect starting at 6 a.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday, May 17th.
During this project, crews will be repairing the deteriorated concrete.
Beginning Friday, motorists can expect the following traffic impacts along 38th Street and I-29 southbound exit ramp intersection:
- The left turn lane off I-29 southbound exit will be closed – detour will send traffic to the north to access 9th Ave. S.
- One lane in each direction along 38th St. S. will be open
- The left turn lanes at the 38th St. S. intersection will be closed
- The inside left turn lane of 13th Ave. at the Jct of 38th St. S. and 13th Ave. S. will be closed
- Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph
Motorists should find alternative routes where possible.
