Vehicle Strikes Man Who Attempted to Cross I-94 Wednesday Evening

(Fargo, ND) -- One person has been taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo after being hit by a car on I-94 West Wednesday evening.

The state highway patrol says 29-year-old Saha Khadka was struck around 9 p.m. when he attempted to cross the Highway north to south.

That's when troopers say 47-year-old Penny Parker, who was going the speed limit at 55 miles per hour, swerved to attempt to avoid Khadka, but hit him with the front driver side of her vehicle.

Parker and her passenger were not injured in the incident.

The extent of Khadka's injuries are not available at this time, and the crash is under investigation.
